The melting pot of current culture lives on the Atlanta BeltLine.

For the Urbanites, you know what I mean. For the Suburbanites, come visit.

As a Chabad Chasid who follows the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov, the BeltLine is a place full of Divine lessons. Doing my run on the BeltLine the other day I encountered a fellow walking in front of me with a shirt that begged for a photo.

I wasn’t sure where it was going to go, but I knew that there was a take home that would present itself.

And then it struck me. “In every generation, we are obligated to see ourselves as if we ourselves left Egypt.” Pesach is all about the Exodus and the spiritual liberation from our inner and outer limitations.

Outer limitations is when “when they shade” (if you don’t know what that means, you really need to come visit the BeltLine – or come see me).

The liberation is “God finds another way for you to shine”. That’s the inside, the core breaking out of the self talk, the outer talk and all of the other insecurities that hold us back from living in alignment. That’s Passover!

In every generation and every day, G-d is showing us how we can shine.  If we open our eyes, ignore the shader and shaders, we can live more fully and alive!
