I love the BeltLine, I love Atlanta!
The other day walking on the BeltLine I saw a person in a t-shirt that said “I’m A Limited Edition”.
My first thought was; “Me too”! In fact, all of us are Limited Editions, that’s why there is only one of each of us.
If we weren’t a limited edition we wouldn’t be here, because we’d be superfluous and nothing in Hashem’s wonderful world is extra.
This Shabbos is Gimmel (3) Tammuz, the 28th Yurzeit of the Rebbe.
Many things have been said and have been written about the Rebbe’s greatness, vision, love, scholarship, wisdom, etc.
On a personal level, for me, each and every day, I’m reminded that there was someone in my life, that knew I was a limited edition and that in there lay my unlimited ability.
In a post 3 Tammuz world, we turn to the Rebbe’s teachings and the spiritual energy and inspiration of a Tzadik even after they have passed, to remember that we are limited editions and are empowered with a G-dly soul that has unlimited powers.
There are many videos of the Rebbe’s encouragement of song. I imagine that encouragement reminding me each day, that if I’ve been given another day on this Earth it is because my limited edition is still needed.
I wish for you and for each and every Human being to remember this; we are unique, we are powerful, we have something to accomplish on this Earth that only we can do.
28 in Hebrew is Koach – Strength. Perhaps this is the year that we all unleash the power within, the Koach, the Unlimited version of ourselves!
Have a great and uplifting Shabbos! And I hope you’ll join me for Friday night Shabbos dinner or Shabbos day services with our scholar in residence. All the info available here.
