Find Out Where Your Child Fits In

Chabad Intown has built a reputation as being the premier provider of Jewish experience for children in the “in-town” Atlanta community.  From our Hebrew School where the kids await anxiously the next class to Camp Gan Israel where families sign up a year in advance Chabad provides enjoyable and meaningful experiences for Jewish children.

Bar Mitzvah Club

Learn the Deeper Meaning of Becoming A Bar Mitzvah

The Bar Mitzvah is not just a milestone, but a time to acknowledge the responsibilities that come with becoming a Jewish man. A 14-week Discovery Course helps pre Bar Mitzvah boys learn about the significance of the event, including the Thirteen Principles of Faith, Torah and Haftorah, Mitzvos, and Ahavas Yisroel. This guys-only group meets every Sunday evening from 5:30-7:00 and costs $360. Snacks are provided at each gathering. Please email rabbi@chabadintown.org

Bat Mitzvah Club

A Club for Girls By Girls

Your daughters approaching Bat Mitzvah marks a significant milestone for her as a Jewish woman. While the celebration is essential, its true importance lies in shaping her identity as a Jew for the long term. We emphasize that it’s not a graduation from Judaism, but rather the beginning of a vibrant Jewish life. To ensure this, we’ve established the successful Bat Mitzvah Club. We provide a space for girls aged 11-13 to learn, enjoy, and connect with other Bat Mitzvah girls. The club meetings, held on 8 (almost consecutive) Sundays from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM, are open to all, regardless of where they plan to celebrate their Bat Mitzvah. It’s essential to recognize the impact of the Bat Mitzvah on your daughter’s Jewish identity, prioritizing its significance over the party. (To support those celebrating at Chabad Intown or seeking instruction through Chabad, we offer one-on-one classes four to six months before the celebration date. For further information, please email us at rabbi@chabadintown.org.)
